Mr. Maseda leads CoAdvantage as President and Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for Sales, Operations, Product Development, Finance, Risk Management and Human Resources. Prior to his appointment at CoAdvantage, Mr. Maseda was CEO at Avisena, a revenue-cycle management company that helps medical practices improve collections. Before his tenure at Avisena, Mr. Maseda spent 11 years at ADP TotalSource where he held several senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and Southeast Region General Manager. While at ADP TotalSource, he focused his efforts in growing a multi-million dollar business through his rigorous approach to business execution and product development.
Mr. Maseda holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Miami (UM); a Master of Science in Computer Science from the State University of New York (SUNY); and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard School of Business. He is also involved in his community as a Miami member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) as well as a board member of the Baptist Health Foundation.
Mr. Burgess serves Executive Vice President of CoAdvantage where his responsibilities include Sales, Account Management and Client Service. Mr. Burgess has an extensive background in sales, marketing, operations and finance. He brings a wealth of business and executive experience to CoAdvantage, having served in leadership roles in several leading PEOs to include Gevity HR and Global Employment Solutions PEO Division. His 18 years of fast track experience in the employee leasing industry includes implementation of multi-million dollar cost saving strategies, turnaround management, revenue growth and sales group leadership. He has participated in reverse mergers, organizational turnarounds, corporate restructuring and IPO events.
Mr. Burgess attended the University of Central Florida and is active in various local youth athletic leagues as a coach and mentor.
Mr. Latham is Senior Vice President, Risk Management where his responsibilities include underwriting, loss control, claims and EPLI.
Prior to joining the CoAdvantage team, Mr. Latham was founder and President of Latham Risk Management, an Atlanta-based risk management advisory firm that specialized in the PEO industry. He worked with PEOs across the country and offered risk executive outsourcing services, broker and carrier selection advice, and traditional consulting projects.
Mr. Latham was previously a founding partner in Stonehenge Insurance Solutions, an insurance brokerage and program management firm that focuses exclusively on the PEO industry. He also previously served as a member of the national Insurance and Risk Management Advisory practice of Ernst & Young, LLP, where he worked on several large risk management projects. Mr. Latham served as Vice President of Risk Management for Gevity HR, Inc., a publicly-traded PEO with responsibility for the overall management and oversight of the Company’s risk management staff and its $150 million workers’ compensation program, as well as all other corporate insurance programs and Business Continuity planning.
Mr. Latham holds his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in Insurance and Risk Management. He is also a graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Mr. Latham has also achieved his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations from the Insurance Institute of America, and is a licensed insurance agent in several states.
Mr. Lowrey serves as Chief Financial Officer of CoAdvantage where his responsibilities include Finance, Benefits and 401K Administration. Mr. Lowrey has an extensive background in banking, operations and accounting and brings a wealth of business, financial and executive experience to CoAdvantage. He has served in key roles on three entrepreneurial management teams, each cited by Inc. magazine’s Inc. 500 as being among the fastest growing privately held companies of their times.
Prior to joining CoAdvantage, Mr. Lowrey gained operational experience as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for a leading lawn and garden manufacturer and as Chief Financial Officer for a staffing company that grew via acquisitions and developed the concept of productivity-based staffing. He spent the first 11 years of his career working for Deloitte & Touché and PNC Financial Services Group.
Mr. Lowrey earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Grove City College and his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. He has been active in various local youth athletic leagues as a coach and mentor.
